When can I get my awning?

Thanks to our in-house supply, from the moment you order your Elegance Cassette retractable awning, you are able to choose your installation date, which can be as soon as two weeks from the point of order! Many suppliers can take over two months due to supply chain and imports, but thankfully, we hold all our own stock to give a better, faster service. 

 

 

Where can I install my awning?

When you enquire about your awning, send us a clear photograph of the location you are thinking of having it installed. Our team of seasoned experts will be able to tell from the photograph if it will be possible to install your awning in the chosen location or if adjustments need to be made. Providing us with other details, such as the available height, will help a smooth process, as the height from the installation point to the ground is essential to our team in deciding the maximum projection available for your awning.

How to care for your retractable awning

Whilst these awnings are easy to maintain, we do recommend some basic care to help extend the life of your retractable awning. These steps should help keep it in good working order and look like new. You can use warm soapy water to clean your awning fabric and elements but stay away from harsh chemicals and scrubbing too hard; it is important to be gentle and take your time. Ensure your awning is completely dry before you put it away. Leaving it wet whilst inside the mechanism can lead to mould growth, trapped moisture and rust issues. We recommend doing this on a hot summer’s day, with no rain due, once before the season starts and once when it ends. Once your awning fabric is completely dry, use a waterproofing spray to top up the fabric’s protective layers, this will help rain roll off the fabric and prevent a build-up of mildew.
